Went to goodguys in Springfield

Perfect weather, great venue, big turnout. I saw a ton of pastel street rods, lots of nice Novas, Mustangs, Camaros. I did see the Gherkin, nice ride! What stood out in a sea of street rods was 30Bufords very nice 30 Ford roadster. Bruce took a while and showed me the car from top to bottom, I spotted the HAMB tag and we talked about the forum and how great a resource it is. his roadster has a Buick 401 and a stick in it. Brookville body and lots of neat touches....thanks for the tour. I got some good ideas for my project Modified.
The auto cross was a sight to see, very tight course though it looked to me, I used to race Pro Solo in SCCA and we carry higher speeds on the course. All in all a good day, I made the drive down from Maine, five hours, probably wouldn't go next year though.

 

Anything pic worthy ??? That 30 roadster sounds cool.

i went too, awesome weather. i think the venue is good, LOTS of room, places to park, lots of bathrooms etc.
i saw lots of shoebox Fords, galaxies, fairlanes, wagons etc a good mix

the only thing that sucks is the PRICE> $5 for spectator parking and $15 bucks just to walk around
