So my buddy just found one of these. A garage find actually. been in storage since 1961 when the father in law took it off the rd to rebuild the motor. It's tatty from sitting but no rodent invasion. surface rust though, and partially dissassembled. No pictures yet but this is what it looks like assembled. He's trying to buy it and wants to put a v8 in it :) Check out the frnt and rear suicide doors!

Most of them stay abandoned :) I have a soft spot for them.. must have been dropped on my head as a baby. I think the little beast will make an awesome rod if he can get it for his price.

I love Rovers. This model looks very relaxed - like my dog asleep on his rug. But when you throw a ball they are away like a rabbit.

  10. Here,s a Rover Coupe some Hamber,s found in Edmonton a couple of years ago.
British heritage 'eh. :) Wonder what they did with it. ?

    IT"S HOME!!!

looks better than it did in the shed. Apparently all the bits are there, but what it really wants is a different engine and driveline I think :)

Maybe a nice AL block 3.8 "Land Rover" V8 w/ Buick valve covers?

You can see part of an ugly car off in the distance behind the rear window.. 1980 Rover SDI - 3500 V8 with John Woolfe Performance intake and carb, Borg warner 3 speed and hiway diff.. I'm going to try to convince him :)

That looks like it was a 4 door shortened to look like a coupe?

I don't know about the rabbit part, but it is relaxed looking :) I like the avatar, is that what I think it is? (Basil)
