Prep it like you would normally prep for any paint job. Sand and clean it. If it has any grease, oil, dirt, hand grease, it's going to run.

I even used glass cleaner to clean the top of my car. Probably not the best idea, but it worked. Seemed to stick really good.

just an overdrive pedal for a guitar. i mean even under the lightest spray, like barely even laying at all on the surface, anything that hits just runs. idk if its a bad can or wtf. i have a few other cans. ill give em a test with a base and see what i get. ive never ever seen shit run this fast lol

If it's the can, try taking the cap off and jamming it back on. I had to do that 4 or 5 times through my last 12 cans.

I think when I get my test can, I will be using it on my air cleaner first, then move on to the wheels depending on how I like it.

I got a can of this and it sprayed good for about 2 minutes and then it wouldn't spray anymore and the paint was just oozing out of the can, but I returned it and the part i got done looks so good I thought it was worth another try.

Also I sprayed the silver flake over a purple base and the purple shows through enough to give it a nice look.

... On second thought, not a great idea to paint the top of a car. It might be the particular color, but I can't it to lay down even enough to make me happy. So I'm gonna get some real paint and just do it the right way! This stuff is great small stuff though.

I finally got the chance to try this stuff out this weekend. I used a cherry red base and then shot over it. I need to get a better clear on it still. I grabbed the wrong can of clear when I was over at the garage a few weeks back. Worked pretty damn good. My first can clogged up pretty good after one wheel. Then I used can 2 on two wheels. Base coat makes a huge difference with this stuff. Anyone have a rattle-bomb clear that they would suggest?

They both turned our good from the pics. I like the way the flake came out tho. I'd like to do a green color on the wheels for my 52 and lose the red I have right now.

Thanks. I still need to clear over the wheels that are "flaked." I only had enough to finish off 3 wheels. I didnt do the centers since they will be covered by the "poverty" caps. The color is only temporary until I get the car painted. I still need to figure out what color I want to go with. I know it will be a two-tone jobber. I dont mind the sanding and repainting n such.

I bought a can of the citrus dream to mess around with as well.
