What does a Canuck and a Texan have in common?

Candy-Man (Neil Candy) and Flat-Top Bob (Bob Owens) will be piloting "Mothers Worry" red belly tanker motivated by a GMC, Jimmy 302, in Bonneville this August.

Jimmy says: " EIGHT for show and SIX to go ".....

Final touches for the belly tanker on this 4 day week end:
    • - Rad fittings to be welded onto the rad
    • - Front suspension void/hole covers
    • - Moon disc's on the four rims
    • - Raise the front end by 1"
    • - Week end following next, will be the striping & lettering
Hopefully we will some music by Jimmy this Friday afternoon !

Anyways stop by while you are on the salt in Bonneville and say hello to myself, Bob Owens, Crew Chief: Keith Floyd (long time friend of Bob's), Crew: Keith Gauthier and Brad Oates both from the Toronto, Ontario area....

Yes, none of us have a clue what we are doing, but it will be a shit load of fun !

If it looks as if the top tank is just sitting on the flanges and not bolted together with the lower tank, you would be correct !

There's a few Kiwi's coming over this year. We will definitely stop by & say "Gidday". Love the approach...."none of us have a clue what we are doing, but it will be a shit load of fun...."

jstadrvr : Yes Keith, I can't wait either....

mrdodge : Come on by mate, I think everyone will notice where we are parked in the pits, what Bob Owens and Keith Floyd have planned !!!!

Tman : Bob once told me he was the worlds tallest midget.... Sorry Bob ! Hell I am not much taller....

Rich Venza : Hello Rich, yes it was one of your tanks. However; I purchased it from the A-----E who initally purchased your company ! As your are aware a great guy has bought your old company since then (2nd owner), Scott, is a great guy to deal with !

I might have to take a day and drive over to Bob's and get a closer look at this. I'll have to buy a part as a cover story for my wife. :)

If you drive 1,700 miles north of Bob's, you can see the Belly Tanker....

Pin Striper threw a little paint at the tanker today....

Once the 'one shot' is dry, I'll push the tanker outside with the Moon disc's on the rims....

Ole' tyme' feel with brush strokes in the paint... With a little rubbing, it will remove the shine !

HAMB'er : "rollie" is to thank for the lettering and striping.
