Wow...I hope Wednesday happens there before here so I don't have to wait so long to see those doors on the car! Oh and when I saw the krispy kremes I had to ask my wife if doughnuts were a British thing because he's got the same ones I get from the gas station on Sunday mornings!

  3. I also had a good laugh at the doors, Steve - they really do look good. Like the rest I'm waiting for how they look on the car!

All the best to you and your lovely wife ....

I hear they are recasting Monte Python's Flying Circus........you two are a shoe in. :D (but the pay is peanuts, not doughnuts :p)

That door art is amazingly nice. Gold leaf really sets it off.

Steve, I can understand you not getting any work done on the gasser today, you must have been down at the Diamond Jubilee, rubbing elbows with the Royals. :p Did Sue make you go or was it your idea ?

Well it stopped raining today [IMG] so i managed to get some more bits painted at last.

While i was waiting for it to dry i mostly played fender piping, tried Black looked aweful, tried Grey but no good as i can't find a perfect match for the primer, ended up trying some chrome mylar, Looks ok but i'm still not sure so it might get changed again, opinions ???

While I was thinking about it I finally got around to finish polishing the weight bar and fitted my Willys licence plate light that finally turned up. While I was there i fitted a Wilys script to the trunk to stop people thinking they are following a VW [IMG]

Also tried these against the car today, they are original 60's McCulloch Paxton supercharged chrome scripts as new condition, they came in the blower kits when you bought one, I found them on Ebay for little money, Rockit put me onto them, thanks Shaun.

Just can't make up my mind where to put them ???

I think the chrome welting looks as good as anything else would. As for the Supercharged tag, not sure there is a right place to put them. I guess if anywhere right under the Willys name on the sides of the cowl, but then it might take away from the simplicity of those tags.

Don the chrome piping is growing on me, Can't think of anything else that would look right to be honest.
The supercharger tags are just so nice not to use them somewhere, I was thinking of just below the Willys tags on the hood but the script is slightly different, looked slightly goofy to me.
Someone suggested above the hood trim but the Bigbossman is doing some "powered by Cadillac" lettering there.
He is coming to do them soon so better get a donut order sorted :D

Try them in front of the "Willys" script on the same level.
