At this point it could be anything....possibly a cut down coupe/sedan of an obscure make....definately home brew....I like the curved windshield...we don't see many like that at all.
Is it fiberglass? Street Beast? Is that Dick pawing the car? Why is he eating his hand? Kinda looks like a 33 Plymouth.
Cowl, doors, and windshield (chopped?) look like they could be Fiat Topolino minus roof. Back half? Duh, I dunno....
The car is steel Yep, that's Dick pawing the car and why he's eating his hand I have no idea other than we ran out of beer
Looks like a narrowed A with a volkswagon windshield grafted on to me. But that is just my best guess.
Ash trays in an open car?? Plus going to the trouble of making dual spin-out ones? Guess smokin' was a big priority to the builder.
Whatever it is, it is NOT pleasing to the eye. A perfect example of why some people should just not handle tools.
My guess... Obviously an A grilled shell. 33-34 cowl, heavily narrowed. Bantam body with the aforementioned VW windshield. 26-27 T rear deck. And what HRP said.
You my friend may have nailed it. For you white supremacists this is good reason to not mix breeds. Now has anyone seen my sheet or my pointy hat?
doesn't have the same lines as a topolino..??? https://www.google.com/search?tbm=i...s&biw=1243&bih=621&sei=_wTST8HtDoOa2gXi5YyHBg It's definitely funky looking
I knew you guys would love this car The dash is similar to a Prefect, the Prefect has the ashtrays, but not the peak in the center.Couldn't find a pic of a Bantam dash that matched either
Well it's obviously pieced together out of pieces from several different cars. It can most likely be traced back to a damned good body man who took a bunch of left over parts and made a car out of them in the 70's. Not a glamor rod by any concept but a solid looking rod that a guy could probably drive cross country at the drop of a hat and not have a worry in the world. And I'd bet that as someone said, the title is probably worth as much as the actual car.
Most definitely NOT a VW windshield........they never used a heavy trim molding like the subject car. Windshields were mounted in rubber and for those with a trim molding, it was a small round bead of aluminum that fitted into a groove in the rubber. The overall shape of the glass is similar...I'll give you that.....close, but no cigar! Ray
Check out the door curve and windscreen in this British Ford. Last week RocketDaemon needed ID of a door with the same curve. Given the OP location it probably is British, not a Topolino , thats for sure.
I dunno.. it's a pretty cool fab job.. I hate the rear fenders, but whoever made the plyfiaprefectaustivolksford was pretty skilled.
That sure looks a lot like it. Windshield on the car is hinged and opens on the bottom about 2" Has hand crank winshield wipers
HOLD THE PHONE!!! I knew I'd seen that door before! http://www.standardmotorclub.org.uk/images/flying/fling8tourers/398tourer1.JPG Standard flying 8... my buddy has 2 roadsters.
