Amazing work can't believe missed this until now. Glad to hear was nothing major on the fall off jack stands. Keep it up
That's really some nice fabricating. Good job! I'm always amazed at the skills I see on this board. Lots of talented people out there. Tom
PICTURE DAY! Even though most of these are getting pretty old! The engine looked so cool in epoxy I almost left it. Then it went across the street to a buddies shop so I could paint his Rav4 (ghey) A little OT, but on easter sunday I had a couple visitors.. Teaching my son how to spray paint. And my daughter wanted to play "Knoahh Knaaah" Ready for BODYWORK! Frenched Flush mount Teardrops
Not going to lie, going to be a decent amount in the firewall. Had some warpage, and hot rolled 16ga. I've got big goals for the next couple weeks. Bodywork on the shell is already 75% done, And I only started it a few days ago.
I went to Torque Fest in the morning and was home by 1pm. Saw some great 49-54 Chevys, makes me kinda want one again. Not much progress on the '32. It goes to the painters next week.
That is some amazing fab work! Really digging the build keep the pics coming. Good Luck on the build.
I haven't posted in a while. I think you may dig the progress. Pics coming sometime today. Stay tuned!
The only real Factory part from the top of the rockers down!! Can you spy it?! Sorry to post so many pics of the bottom, but I was diggin it bigtime once the body was off and I could see my craftyness!!
Keystone Tint-able spray in bedliner Assembled the frame on the "rotisserie" . Man did that make it nice! Except when it came time to get it down And I only had one shop crane. Scared the shit out of me! Lookin really sexy ready for the body!
Dude, along with your time frame to work completed...its also so impresive how unafraid to cut and rebuild the ever livin shit outta every part of that Chevy!! Big props man, looking really good!!!
Nope, Not scared! HAHA, It's only metal! F it up bad enough, you'll have to get out a bigger hammer an fix it! haha My Old Boy neighbor guy was over the other day and I was showing him something somewhere and telling him about how "when I'm driving the hell out of it, ... " He looked puzzled.. It came to me.. He thought I wasn't ever going to be driving this thing.. **he's mistaken** I LOL'd.
Hah, it wont be long at your rate before your blistering past his house half sideways with smoke bellowing out the rear wheel wells!!! Then he 'll really look puzzled.....or pissed!!!
Amazing work! Very impressive. I would give my right nut to be able to do this...if my wife didn't already destroy it! Cant wait to see some video of this rolling.
Now this is nice work..alot of thought went into this build.. The workmanship is top notch.. love it.
Damn nice Beav. How was the beadliner to apply? I'm thinking that in white under the fenders of the '32.
It was a Giant FN MESS, not all over the floor mess, just a whore to spray because when you pull the trigger, shit comes out. so if you want to try to adjust the pressure for different textures, you gotta keep moving at the same time. I forgot in one spot and dripped all over the place, disaster! Other than that, I like it. I wish I would have bought two kits, 1 didn't cover the whole thing as thick as i'd liked it to.
