John Olays 29 sedan project

    He actually made the trim rings from stainless round bar and polished them. The top will be black cloth, the interior will be black also, with maybe a hint of red, not sure bout that yet though.

    Gorilla glue... They have set screws on the reverse side of the wheel lip actually. -Gary

    Back from upholstery, and the top is covered and done. Turned out great.
    Not sure if you noticed but the roof was filled with metal and smoothed, than he had it covered.

    This is one of those swan song cars!

    I hope there are many more to come from this guy, but this one is a statement.

    He has built several cars over the years, and had his hands in building, working on or finishing alot of them for other people that have been well known also!

    The fuel tank is inside the car. It stands up just inside the rear body. The filler is that small round hole, just under the rear glass.

    The car looks a lot better in person than in the pictures .

    Pardon me if I missed it ,but the custom built hood ,is it stock length or has it been stretched ?
