Heading to Wilmington NC ...what to do

Looking for a few places to visit on my biz trip to Wilmington NC after Fathers Days for that week

 

Ride around lookin at old cars and young hookers !

 

The USS North Carolina is a must see!

The Hilton Riverside is the nicest place to stay, but is pricey. The Best Western Plus is next door and is really nice and reasonably priced. That area has the downtown and you see some neat stuff. Lots of motorcycles, tattoo parlors, pubs, a really cool place. That's where I hang out when I am there.

 

Take some sunscreen! Eat lots of seafood! Drink lots of beer!

 

Look up Will at Sakowski Motors. He's a HAMBER.. Great dude.

I checked Carolina Cruising website and did not see any. That does not mean there aren't any, however.

 

I went there a few years back for the Rims on the River car show and to visit some friends, it was a great event, with lots of cool cars! Check out the Maulers Car Club, they have some neat cars in the club and I'm sure you can meet up with some of them. They put the event on, and they have another event in the Fall the port city rumble, where they have a "creeper" race! Here is the link for contact info. Take your wife or girlfriend shaggin', or drive down to Calabash, NC for some great seafood.
