Thanks flathead okie and jim! Thanks also for the info on that little boat tail speedster flathead okie.

Also if you get impatient while I am getting these ready - there are plenty more on my website http://www.pbase.com/dlgphoto/carevent and also on the Lone Star thread that I am working on at the same time as this one. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=691324&highlight=one+more+lone+star

The evening before the actual Stray Kat 500, there was a barbeque for everyone there. This is a snapshot of that from the roof of Travis Miller 's ( too tall okie here on the HAMB) automobile collectibles store.

  2. Nice pic....unfortunately it shows evidence that I brought a trailer queen....I see my wife pulling around the corner with the truck n trailer headed to Travis' house to hide the evidence. Busted!! LOL

Except that you ratted yourself out, only the people with exceptional eyesight would possibly have noticed:)

And now for the famous ( or maybe infamous) Travis-mobile (or maybe RoyBoy-mobile)

You're welcome Travis - I always thought your car was cool, but this is the first time out of all the times I have been in the same vicinity where it was parked in a place I could get a decent shot of it.

You're welcome Mike - not hard to do - the car is great looking. But it's always tricky getting a good photo of a dark glossy car unless you have the ability to position it, control the light, etc.

Thanks big bird 007. It really was a fabulous time both for the cars and the people. The environment was certainly pretty amazing too.

Thanks Dan for showing the pics of our old trucks. They look better than they do in person. Great job, nice to meet you at Dewey, you do awesome work.

Stewdecky, your Dodge is one righteous pickup! My granddad had a '46, so they always catch my eye, but yours is outstanding! I looked at it over and over at the SK500
