I have always used a 33/34 tub rear window frame from Labarron Bonney ON my deuce tops.

Top #1 and window #2 are my choices. Top #1 compliments the radius of the rear quarter. Window 2 compliments the low profile of the car. Awesome project! JMHO.

  4. YES # 1. TOP
    YES #2. REAR WINDOW

bardahl1's mail slot rear window looks about 2" too high.....IMO.

it is, but that's because I have a tall wrap around seat, and I had to put it high to clear the seat

Bardahl1 - I think we're talking about the same window, though LeBaron Bonney's website doesn't list that specific window. The one I mocked up in #2 is 4 15/16" x 24 3/4" (according to the site anyway). I'm going to call them tomorrow to make sure the outer frame is stainless, and the inner is chrome since it's not real clear in their description.

And you're roadster is nice.....I've always liked the profile it has. What tire sizes are you running?

    That's the window.

The tires in the pic are stock 18 wheels with Firestone 5.50 fronts and 7.00 STA SuperTransport rear

Currently it has 40 steelies 16" with Firestones 6.00 front and 7.00 rear

I have several sets of wheel tire combos

    Hello Mr Hotrodswe,
That car is just beautiful, I rarely write replies like this one preferring to talk about tech points etc, but I am just struck by the elegance and simplicity, please don't think I mean it was simple to acheive, now I'm getting "tongue tied" (finger tied?)

    Anyway, Beautiful, Thankyou,

    Best Regards
    Rick

    Is this a custom piece?

  14. Hi Cory......Yes I think Roy Brizio built that roadster and made the louver rear window, owner told me it really cut down the air turbulence in the cockpit.

Yes - we'll have it at LARS, driving it down from Sid's that week. Speaking of which, do you guys from California have anything you'd recommended to check out on the drive down from Santa Clara?

He just sent this photo to me a few minutes ago....it looks like the car is pretty much done:
