Event Coverage good guys show puyallup. who's going?

are any folks here planning on going to the show?

it would be cool to get to meet some hamb'rs at the show & see some of your'e rides in person.

l'll be there with the truck all 3 days.

july 27-29 are the dates.

it's the 25th annual show, wonder if they have any special things going on for that milestone.

Well it runs and is rebuilt, sorry the 39 plym roadster, 39 dodge rpu and 32 chev 5 window are all still long ways from being streetable.

I'd love to go even as a spectator but will be saving what little extra change I have for vacation in August about that time and the 150 or so that I would spend going to Goodguys will go a long way on vacation.

 

We go every year. Love the show. More and more Traditional rides are showing up.

Ill be there for Saturday.really great show. But the Drags on Friday night is My favorite.

There will be HAMB beer at the yellow "MOON" shop truck, as last year. Always a HAMBer close by, so stop and rest yer tires.

 

Racing the Chevelle fri. night. Doin a little spectatin on saturday.

 

Man I took an artsy shot of your ride last year after I oogled all over it for a bit. I will have to try and dig up the pic for you.

Fingers crossed that I can make it this year. My son is due out on the 10th so it may be pushing it to go this year. If I am there it, you will see me with a 35mm Camera around my neck.

 

I'm gonna try like hell to be there again this year. Definitely want to spend more time at the amocat shindig..

I was only able to make it on Sunday last year. That is one of the funnest car shows around. About 2500 cars to look at then add the vendors and the bands every night. You will go home tired by the end of the weekend thats for sure.

 

I'll be there, but sadly won't be bringing any of my cars. My junk won't make it that far!!

 

I go home tired after one day! I'm not sure if I will be driving the Stude down this year or not. It hasnt seen much road time in the past 2 years (at least) and it will be back on the road in the next couple of weeks. I need to clear all the cobwebs out close to home before taking it on the highway. It is going to be my DD for the summer... then I'll start doing some more work on it.

 

At last something on a weekend where I'm not working. Yet...

several years ago I went there and hated it. Billet crap, puckey colors, slammed to the ground, 350/350 one after another. then there was 3 cars driving around that were original hot rods and I told them they had the neetes cars there.

then I went back a few years ago and it was waaaaayyyyyy better. and so many cars. I hope to be there this year.

 

The NW HAMB guys try to get together around noon on Saturday. Monitor the NW HAMB social group for time and place as we get closer to the end of July.

I hope to be there for all day Saturday for sure and maybe 1/2 of Sunday, then have a 2 day drive home and then off to another 4 day show, Alberta Superun (a.k.a. Rock N' Red Deer the following weekend).
