What a great place is the H.A.M.B., not a quiter in the bunch!
My old man always said I had dropsy & heart trouble( I'd drop my ass on the couch & didn't have the heart to pick it up again) so I've spent many years proving him wrong.
Even through my few (comparatively) little aches & pains "a slow & steady pace, will always win the race."

Get a tennis ball, put it on the floor run your feet over it from toes to the heel. Do this several times a day. About a week to two you will be fine.

Crohns disease, bad back, knee surgery, Neck fusion and spinal cord problems, bad horse accident. I can only work on my 64 f100 a couple hours most days

  4. Rather bad motorcycle crack up some years ago. Basically crushed my right leg, even now its really weak and my right hand wont let me do fine work. Summers are my favorite, i dont wake up all stiff (and not the viagra kind of stiff). So i get most of my work done then. Though ive finally a wood heater in my shop, this coming winter will be the first one i get anything accomplished in those months.

  7. ^^^^^ It works! 30 years on John Deere's parts warehouse floor...your feet take a beating. My only ailment is my ass welded to the chair in front of this damned computer!

Hi Terd, Just wanted to say "Thanks" for starting this thread. I won't take up space with my list of multiple medical conditions, but I will say that on a scale of 1-10 (10 being worst) I probably rate a solid 8.
Needless to say, after reading all 19 pages, I admit that I feel a lot better (mentally) than I did. Tomorrow will be the "Test" and we will see if the Body will keep up with the Mind.
I am almost 65 and I really do not want to give the Joy I get when working on an old car. This Thread has been an inspiration to me and I hope that others feel the same way..........
Thanks for the greeting you sent when I finally signed up a few weeks ago. I had been a silent viewer ever since my last serious medical event in 2008.
I feel that there is more to The H.A.M.B. than I ever imagined. Thanks Again, Jeff

33 sporttruck, good luck on the test run. If you can get out and do a little bit at a time the feeling of achievement is great. I was able to work on the my sons truck a couple weeks ago and have been laid up ever since. But the work got done and I can see progress, besides....they are never REALLY done.....lol
