I'm still here. I do have a 32 five window that will be HAMB friendly if I ever find the time to work on it.

    Three reasons.

    - I saw a drag car with the name many years ago.
    - I'm a welder
    - Buster Hymen was a friend of mine. :D

I collect any and everything to do CF, Consolidated Freightways, they were an LTL over the road trucking company that went out of business in 2002. My dad was a truck driver and I rode with him when I was a little kid and I always loved the old CF cabovers with the red and green stripes pulling the double trailers, well I started with an item or two and it just kept growing, so I became CF nutcase. Perrorojo,
You don't happen to be a red headed fella are you? Was thinking she padded you on the head and said "Pelo Rojo"...meaning, red hair.

Anyways, got my name from The Outsiders movie..."Stay Gold, ponyboy." It means, to be true and stay young. Then 54 is the year of my chevy.

  12. My name is Donnie. "Don Man" is a nickname. . .

My gramps was a teamster and drove for CF for many years after he left CFL (Certified Freight lines). Think he started out working for System 99. He retired working for Con Way about 12 years ago. I still have the CF and Con way items my gramps gave me from a while back.

Years ago I read a story about a guy racing in Mexico, I think he was driving a Mustang in the Mexico city to Acapulco race, his navigator was calling out the corners with a heavy spanish accent, the corners are listed from 1 to 4 for speed, a 4 is almost a complete stop and left or right a 1 could be taken at full throttle. When I raced in Mexico my navigator also with a heavy spanish accent called the corners it sounded a lot like he was saying fool, insome cases he would say fool, fool, fool, I think he was trying to be reassuring but it sounded like a good description of of my driving, as I was driving far beyond my ability. There you have it Foolthrottle.

I like the Eagles song OL' 55 and '55s.

Did not realize there was an OL 55 on HAMB ( see above) until later...I think he picked a good name...

"Well, my time went to quickly
I went lickety-splitly out to my old fifty-five..."

  29. Seemed like every damned name I came up with was taken, so I got pissed off and cussed out my computer. Then this name popped up in my head, tried it and it took it. End of story.
