Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by meatball, May 12, 2012.

  1. It bothers me to write this but my friend and a friend to many on the HAMB passed away lastnight after surgery,I dont have the details and will post when I know for sure what happened.PLEASE give John and his family your prayers, thoughts or whatever works for you. Those who knew John will remember that he never said a really bad word about anyone and would drop whatever he was doing to give a hot rodder a hand and then fix what ever gremlin was the problem...........He was a member of the Tucson Over The Hill Gang and all of us and the tucson gearheads will miss him,if you get a chance check out his photos........Thanks~~~ Meatball

  19. This is just so depressing for me. I had become a friend of John Kennedy over the last 6 months and this just crushes me. We were just starting to help each other with our projects and I really like him. I just talked to him in the hospital two days ago and he was looking forward to coming home . I just talked to his daughter and he went into surgery yesterday to drain off some fluid off his brain and he was doing ok afterward than lost blood pressure and slipped away. I lost a friend today and I am sad. He was such a nice guy and was always upbeat and optimistic about everything. He was never depressed about his brain cancer. My thoughts and condolences go out to with his wife Darcy and two girls. Full speed ahead John!

I hate to hear this. Didn't know John, didn't really even interact with him on the forum much, but I've enjoyed his comments on many threads. I was one of the many that were pulling for him after his recent surgery and posts. Prayers to his family in this terrible time.

Sad loss never had the chance to meet him. Prayers and thoughts for his family? Anybody know if they need assistance? Or anything that us in the Tucson group can do to help out?
