Its no fun to be hurting , I know a few people who had the surgery to fix CTS & they were happy with the outcome !
    Kind regards .

I had this done about 6-7 yrs ago Kev, on both hands as well...its been back for a few yrs now same ol' numbness and pain, alot of pain for no gain, and my hands have never gotten to the strength I had before the surgury...I certainly hope you have better success than I did ......

Hey Kev, My wife had both hands done about 20 years and she is a Baker and she never has had a problem since. Also had a trigger finger fixed and again no problems.
    You will be fine.

GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR BEFORE SURGERY!! Our spine is like a frame of a car and if one bracket(vertebrae) or wire(nerve) is offset it screws the whole system up. Surgery rarely works, it's just a way for doctors too keep makin the mercedes payment.

Good luck one the surgery Kev. The truck looks awesome. I have wondered what it would take to do this with sedan parts, so it's cool to see this come together step by step.

  15. Spent a day doing yard work at my mother in law's house, she gave this statue to my wife. After sitting it in the back yard I was walking into the house when I turned and looked and she seemed to be saying "Have faith, you will get there".

  16. Thanks for all the hand comments guys, surgery is not until June..

I have spent a lot of time on this cab so far and there is still a hell of a lot of work to do. It would be far better to start with a good sedan body. I am going to have a lot of hours in the floor, firewall and cowl. Not to mention the back of the cab and doors. I feel a little frustrated with the slowing progress but I just have to keep chugging along and one day I will be looking at a solid cab.

I got the back all welded up. Gas welded and hammered flat as I went.

  19. Hey Kevin, when do you think that you can make me some longer Ladder Bars for my '55?
I asked you a few days ago but I guess that you didn't see it. I don't need them right away so it can be way after the surgey.

My chiroprator where I used to live told me not to have the surgury, that he could do a better fix...I should have listened to him lol!

Hey Kev, Good luck with the op's. I had both mine done a couple of years ago......best thing ever! Now I can sleep right through the night, eat a meal without stopping for an interval, drive more than 20 minutes! You won't regret it.
Nice work on the truck too.

Good to see you're back at making gold out of all your scraps!

A couple months ago I met the owner of this willy's pickup.

    Anyway I think it'll be a hit.
Remember that you're building it to sell!

Good luck with the hand too.

More Koolness from Kev-land, your stuff is always so tough I think they named Kevlar after you! One of my pals had a pickup he ran in stock 4-banger class at the drags in 57-58, he won sometimes because he was the only one in his class untill that fateful day the model A showed up sporting that 2-barrel carb, no trophy that day! Just amazing work buddy, thanx for sharing this insighful build. In awe again. ~sololobo~

Kevin you are a man of your word!

Now I can say that Kevin Perry helped my willys coupe build, much appreciated.

I would love to side by side race you someday, to bad there aren't any california race tracks left.
