What color wheels? Opinions please...

I am thinking of doing something different with my wheels. I am considering gloss black and keeping the chrome trim ring on. Others have suggested dark green like my top color. What are you opinions? If anyone is good with photoshop I would be curious to see both.

A set of spyder caps and call it good. I wouldn't paint em black, and I love black wheels with caps & trim rings, but I think your car looks great with the light green wheels.

 

I like what you have now, but add the center caps with them.

Love your car but would like to see some one change the color of the wheels and post the pictures so it would be easier to choose.

I also think they would look good wit just center caps.

 

Cream or vanilla wheels and add skirts.

 

Leave 'em the same color, just put the stock caps back on. If you really must paint 'em, that dark green top color would also look good. Don't think black would look right with this car. Just me, I've made mistakes before.

I have the centers, and I also have skirts. Just playing with a different look. I know my front end needs to come down, add my skirts, I have full length lake pipes as well. Just playing with ideas but dont want to ruin a good look either

 

I say go with the top color, I think it would add some more contrast

 

I agree with the spider caps, and bring the front end down a bit. It doesn't need anything else.

I usually love black wheels but I don't think they'd go with the color of the car, too much contrast.

 

I don't think the front needs to come down at all.


Put your skirts and caps on and post a a few pictures for us.

Upon further review,,,,the front could come down a little but then the rear would probably need to come down also.

IMHO....Keep em Lt. Green...or if you must change for the sake of change, Dk. green.

I took the red as a joke anyway. I just read it and pretended I never saw it.

 

Cap em and go! If you do paint then the green that is on the roof, thats it. Just my 2 cents worth...

 

Leave them the color of the car with dog dish caps ! Always a good way to go and will look great !
You could go with a full size hubcap like a Lancer style .
Just a thought !

Needs a deeper dish wheel in the back with pie crusts then paint the rim dark green with light green pin stripes on the edge and leave the centers light green. Run a smaller tire in the front.

 

Oh, and lose the visor, the spots, the bumperettes, the front bumper, half the grill and trade your zoot suit for a drag chute. I know, I know. I'm just in one of those smart ass moods.
