I bet your pop would have gone for a white tuck and roll if it would have been in the budget.

Sad to say that we all know there must be a couple old furniture upholstery shops that still have a partial roll covered in dust, but how would you ever find them.

Man you guys are all screwed up! Anyone that knows anything about Naugas especially Ct.people know that the only breeding ground for Naugas is a heavily protected 1 1/2 mile section of the Naugatuck River. Naugas only grow to 1 1/2 to 2 inches long and look like miniature beavers but with skin that at a distance looks like armadillo hyde! They are vicious little creatures that will attack much bigger prey like a swam of ants but being Amphibious they attack on land or in the water! the danger of trapping them is why the Hydes cost so much Naugas like cats come in many colors and have different markings depending on what colony they come from.Since they reproduce ever 28-36 days trapping them is the only humane way to keep them from over grazing their terrain both land and water. If they tried to expand their territory now that humans live along the river it would get real ugly as when they are on the move they eat everything in sight both plant and animal no human would be safe!

  8. Be thankful your dad didn't do the interior in BEAVER . Boy would that be a fun thread !:D:p

These guys have one off the best selections of upholstery vinyls I've found (on the home page, click on vinyls for some of their stock)
and they have some crazy vintage stuff that is not on the website so you may want to call and ask if you can email your pix to them. If you can't match it, you should be able to find something in that vibe.
    Good luck,
    Steve

I actually like that pattern for some reason. I thought it would look funky but it isn't bad at all IMO.

Your material is probably discontinued by now anyway. Hope your Dad has some extra. I had a 57 Nomad that I let go in a divorce, miss it. Good luck. ~sololobo~

Haven't recently seen a Naugy here in the Naugatuck Valley of Connecticut. It was invented here but Uniroyal Chemical moved out a long time ago taking all their Naugys with them.

For anyone else having problems finding interior fabrics here's who we use quite often for concept interiors at the day-job...Detroit Body Cloth has nearly everything you can think of, new and old.

WOW the power of the HAMB - Now someone must have the Tex Smith article from long long ago about the shortage of Naugas due the flush of imported Vinyl hide from the new multi colored vinyl calfs!

My Grandma was bitchin. She could drive an 18 wheeler, shoot straight and a straight shooter. She was seen driving my Dad's dirt cars a few times too.

    Awesome lady...

Detroit Body Cloth (and many others) has fabrics that were original to the car, not fabrics that were used to re-upholster a car.
