  3. RE: post # 45613,
We saw this happen to a V8 Valiant one night at Dallas International. We were in the push loop ready to start the digger when it let go. You could hear it all the way from there.
Pretty much shut down the staging area for the rest of the night.....

This is how previous generations learned to DO things, not like the current scared-of-their-own-shadow know only how to push buttons and... (never mind).

Here's pics of some of the older cans in my oil can collection. I'm sure some of you can remember throwing these in the trash at the gas station where you worked many years ago. I guess these pics would qualify for this thread. They are old cans.

Photo 2029 and 2042 street scenes. I believe it is San Francisco. I have the traffic signal shown in the photos in my garage. Have had it for many years. Restored to the original yellow paint. Was hoping to see them on this thread.

I see post after post of Alberta pics raceron, yet you live in Michigan. Did you used to live here in Alberta at one time?

Here are a few old family photos, from the late '40's to the mid '50's.

Maybe there are some Studebaker guys that know what Howard's last name is? Hard to make it out the way the sign is angled.

Some time ago there was a series of postings of photographs taken of a 1920s Lisbon ( Portugal ) Motor Show. I cannot now locate them.
I would be interested to hear from the contributor. Thanks

Looks like Howard Mook (Not too sure on the name)
But West Bloomfield, Michigan is more clear.

    Mart.

Edit: There is a Howard D (Buck) Mook that was a designer at Ford. Could be him. (Stylists would dig the Stude). Lots of mentions on Google.. Sometimes it helps to have an unusual name. Googling even gives a phone number, but it might be a bit cheeky to call it!

    Mart.
