Vintage Torque Fest 2012-Who's Going?

I'll be there sometime on Friday. Been there the last two years, this is the first time bringing my roadster.

Hey ZAQ, you didn't say what kinda trans-----if it's a 350, check the governor, it's external so you don't have to drop the pan, if it ain't right it won't come out of first. Just saying BILL RINALDI

Sounds like hte campgrounds will have some RVs - u know any of em?

i'll be there one way or the other , with or without car , i havent missed one yet , just trying to respect the rules and be fair to everyone ! i'll make it all work out somehow

 

i'll be there wouldn't miss it , and ive slept out in the open before at a rest stop but thats an old drinking story , those road maps dont do much to cover you up or keep u warm !

 

The wife and I will be there on Saturday in the Merc.

 

3 more days of school untill I leave ! Cant wait !!

 

I'll be going for the first time this year. I picked up a '51 Chevy right after Christmas and I haven't even put a wrench to it yet. I've been collecting parts and learning all I can about the car, if the weather co-operates I'll be riding the Harley. Sorry, it's not an old Harley but, when I started customizing it I wanted to give it some old custom car styling cues.

tommorow iis the last working day , then 4am blast off sure glad i got a spare driver so i can relax for part of the trip
hope I can make it on $350 for fuel round trip will see

this is the year of cutbacks on distance driving for car shows and gonna be a stay at home winter had way too much fun last winter , diesel about bankrupted me and am still feeling it

 

If all goes well we'll be there Saturday morning... in the olds!

There are people camping already from what I hear from a local source. Can't wait til tomorrow. Have to get a new wheel on the sidecar already though. I guess the son and I got a little too wild yesterday. Break 'em or break 'em in I say.

Our crew is rolling out noon tomorrow, but it looks like the breaks on the caddy aren't going to allow us t drive it. So we'll just drive something else!

 

Ill be there by one pm lookin to see what kinds of trouble i can get in!

 

Getting up EARLY tomorrow morning, heading in from Detroit. Picking up Mr. Grundy on the way, hope to be there by 6.

I've been busting my ass getting stuff ready for the show too....just nothing I can drive in.
