As many Missouri HAMBers as there is and a few almost Mules you would think that good ol' misery was the hot bed of hot rodding.

Sounds like we should take it a little farther, how many rodders how many customisers and how many just don't give a big rats patoot.

i dont know what you will call mine, but i will call it my daily driver. it is going to have a a stock appearance with painted steelies and ford caps but with an injected 302 and 5 speed. hopefully next year it will be on the road.

 

ok. your house. what date? where is reeds? what's to eat? you got any neighbors who will let us do donuts in their yard? you got a dragstrip in your back 40? any neighbors object to open headers?

there are these 2 happenin's and another one in KC that i've been meaning to get to for several years now, but so far have never made it. can't remember the name right now, but when i do i'll post it up.

i was born in lebanon, but haven't lived there since 1956. they tore the hospital down where i was born without even erecting a sign announcing that i was born there or anything to commemorate the event.

if you saw the funeral procession going through town saturday morning that was my mom. 82 years young and lived most of her life in lebanon. i'm related to the atchleys (of course), iveys, greens, davis's, lowrances, odells's, wagoners, and who knows who else.

lebanon used to be the hot rod/muscle car capital of missouri; is it still?

yeah, but you prolly play with blue & red chickens. you might be ok, though; kerry is. and my nephew. and several others i've met from there. tell ya what; you move to this side of the "line" and we'll put you on here.

Atch, I don't mean to hijack your thread but where can one find hot rodding events in Missouri? I have family in Ava (between Springfield and Branson, to the east) and I'm there at least once a year.

I'll be there again May 9-14th and would like to see some hot rods and meet some folks. And don't ask me how EVERY SINGLE YEAR I miss the NSRA event... usually by just a few days!
