thanks , and i hoping the trim will add a little different look then the std trim. i may be wrong , but i don't think they made a kingswood with impala trim, you could order it with a brookwood, but not kingswood? again im not sure, but either way i think it will look good.

zman, ive always have had respect for you and your posts. ive not always agreed with what youve said but still had respect for your right to say it.but to this one, you are dead on.100%.ive always believed this rust, patina is bullshit. its for people who are too lazy to fix or do not have the skills to fix it right.so they try to make it cool to have a rusty ass car.i hate rust!! oh yea, i love that wagon!!!

well its been way too long, since i laid hands on the ol girl.
i brought her down from her resting spot up in the sky and spend a few hrs on her.
i had bought some 58 delray? taillights awhile (about 1yr) ago from a hamber.
thought it was about time to getting them installed. i plan on Frenching them in buckets.

    first step.stock set up.

    cut out.

that's when about the time i realized i didn't have enough 18 gauge to make the buckets! and it was about 110 in the shop all day.so i called it quits on the rear.

decide to start the mock up of 3x2 set up. i scored this from a good texen friend. going to need some love on the carbs, and will probably glass bead the manifold, not much of a polished guy.

    that's it for now folks....

Ryno has a stunning 64 wagon but I'm curious what happened to this one. He's been busy with a few projects.

    Bump for updates.

Any body know why people use a plate on the lower c-arm instead of cups ? I've got some pipe and can make lower cups. I just want to make sure there isn't a certain reason why not.

Did you use dominator 2600's front & back? I'm collecting parts for a 59 Elco quik & dirty right now. Looks like things are going to be very tight with 2600s? That's what I have.
