Since we skipped the last "scheduled" date so everybody could pick up the funny looking eggs that bunny left scattered around their yards, we are going to get back on track this Sunday. Hope to see some new faces! LUCKY'S BURGER AND BREW in Roswell at 12:30 1144 Alpharetta Street Roswell, GA 30076 *click on the logo below for a link to their website* As allways, bring an apetite and a sense of humor...and maby a D.D.
We're gonna be shy a couple of members who're in Charlotte, but I hope the rest of the SFCC and friends will make it. And also some new guys and gals, too. Lucky's is a great place and the food and drinks are first rate. Just one small request: Please, between now and Sunday am early, post here on this thread if you are coming if at all possible. This will allow whoever gets there first to inform the hostess how many we have coming, and hopefully then we will almost always get a patio/deck table. Last 2 times @ Lucky's we didn't know how many to ask for, table size wise, got seated inside. Accoustics are far better out on patio and easier to hear for a conversation, especially for a half deaf old fart like me! Dave
The wifey, the boy, and I will be there... if we are not still hunting a truck. We will keep you posted.
Don't feel that you need to come in a HAMB friendly ride! Lots of us don't always have that ride roadworthy all the time. My first HAMB friendly in about 60 years is not quite finished. Come and join in, however you get here! Dave
Good news Dodge Girl, look forward to seeing you there. Like to watch you dig in on that big ol' burger! Dave
This thing moves fast,, not going to make it, but a bump for ya. DOM, don't forget to take your pepsid before you dig into that burger.
Joe, when you have spent half your life eating in "greasy spoons" like I have, you develop a cast iron stomach and can eat "anything that doesn't eat you first"! But to me at least, the food @ Lucky's is well prepared and not greasy, especially if you wash it down with plenty of that buck and a half Mickey's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dave
Jefffy, In my part of the exurbs, if it's a non chain restaurant that serves breakfast without Strieak-O-Lean on the menu, then the true towns folk know that the operators "Ain't our kinda people". What takes skill is to fry it to just the exact point that the "rind" is just right to crunch up in your teeth and be eaten with enjoyment aplenty yet not overcook the rest.
Appears we'll have about 10, including kids, unless Russ shows up or Brett brings his daughters. Gonna call Russ in a few. Dave
we can blame the Bear for letting me taste such a wonderful thing...maybe i'll make one of these this year
Thanks for having these folks... I had a good time. special for sweetwater 420 draft, 2 bucks! I paid more for lunch, than for beer! Them onion rings were pretty tasty, thanks for the suggestion dirty old man! wooo hoooo ! -W
