    Bolsa,
Same car club... Shifters, are you the person that bought it from him? I have not seen it since it left, this is the first time...in a long time. It looks better with skirts, and full wheel covers.

Yeah. It's been a few years. I've done some work to it.(boxed the frame, Shit load of body work to get things to fit right needs more, Homemade Interior and more) Re-doing the top rightnow as you can see in the picture.

You know the way these cars are. Never really finish them.

Funny story. On the way home with the car. Coming off the grapevine I met another club member. I think he said his name was Squeek. Cool guy. Maybe some day I'll get back down to Socal with the car, and meet up with yuo guys.

here is mine...56 Mercury chopped 4", bagged and smoothed, still being worked on. I'm getting ready to add a 56 Pontiac split rear bumper to her.

Sqeek did say he had seen the Roadster...and that it had lost the deck lid along the way.

That Roadster could be a contender... the pinnacle of the late 40's Era! ...or it could go the other direction in the latest trend.

Maybe it's time for someone to post up the definition of what a TRUE "taildragger" is...or be forever destined to beat your heads against the wall...

I like it. Lifetime membership here. (May I never see a 32 highboy with a louvered hood & trunk again....) I love you Jimi, but I can still tolerate surf music.

Yeah I didn't realize that the decklid wasn't bolted down. Heading north up the grapevine it flew off. Fortunatly I had a spare.

Trying to stay as traditional as possible. At least with appearance.

  28. Thanks guys, just trying to keep these threads on the right track.

I shot the picture in black and white and Rik gave it some of his touches :)
