Who in town does a good, reliable clean out of old fuel tanks? I know there are lots of home brew ways to do it, but I don't have a way to dispose of the gunk that will come out so looking for a shop that does it. Thanks.
Not as many as used to unfortunately. Rather than taking a crap shoot on phoning a bunch of places, I prefer referals for folks like us..........increases the odds of a good outcome. Thanks seal, I'll give them a check out.
Thanks again ropeseals. Took the tank to Pickart's and after inspection by Jim we determined the insides were too far gone to make it worth cleaning. I offered to pay him for disposal but he turned my offer down and just had me throw it in his scrap pile. Not often that a business let's you out the door free of charge nowadays after spending valuable time. Next opportunity I'll be bringing something worthwhile to them and/or referring others.
