no55mad thanks, I think he's a handsome devil and great fun but I might be biased:). He can't fit in my Hillman, will be good to get the wagon going so we can go ride again. Those Griffs look great there. So many great looking dogs on this thread too.

Part of the mix (a Dutchman named Korthals is responsible for the breed) to get the Griffon was an English Pointer.

  17. Glad to hear what you guys are doing. My Father-in-law rescued a male and female Dane from a puppy farm. Both dogs were in terrible condition, worms, fleas, tics, you name it they had. The girl ended up pregnant. I got one of the three pups that survived. Best dog ever. keep up the good work.

  18. I love this thread. Something about old trucks and dogs together just works for me. I can't imagine driving down the road with a cat...especially my cat. If you put him in the car he always shits himself. Freakin' pansy.

Anyway, this is my new partner, Bodhi (short for Bodhisattva). I absolutely love this dog.

He sure seemed to be diggin' on hanging out with my mongrol hoardette the other day at my place! He is welcome down any time. Between Napolean and my Schnauzer, I think we might be able to tip the balance of world power if left together too long... Beagles and Schnauzers, diabolical animals!

Some new pix of Jager, now 9.5 months old. Again, he is Henry's replacement - my late buddy in the first post. He likes cruising in the 48 Plymouth. He was in the 32 but jumped out the window before I could get a pic (made 2 pic attempts - 32 not running at pic time) - he associates it with too loud.

I told endlessearth's wife Dayna about your possible "beagleskin cap", and she was less than enthusiastic... 'Course, I was quick to add that it came from the owner (and dad) of a Schnauzer!
