That turned out nice, good proportions!

Also, the inadvertently chopped 59 Chev in the background looks cool too! :D

Thats some nice work! Work the shadows a bit and I'd imagine a lot of people wouldn't even catch on that the background is photoshopped in.

Gave me some inspiration for some artwork.
Just so happens I had a cartoon of a 57 that I decided to give a little LDO treatment.

Whoo! That's awesome. The tire smoke and flyin' gravel, the shredded roof, Ratfinks's shadow, the highlights on the glass...excellent work!

A few pages back, Zykotec posted a Chevy with -57 Ford trim. I loved the idea, but didn't really "get" the placement of it, so I tried my own version and added Buick portholes, a lowering, new wheels, a "pancaking" of the roof (no height removed from windows, just the steel above it) and a red-tinted rear window. I hope it's Hamb-friendly, otherwise it might work as inspiration on detail-level.

Alright so throwing around some more ideas and once again need your guys help (just wanted to let you know have been very helpful and extraordinarily awesome with your PS skills). So here is what I am thinking, I want see the coupe done in a two tone. What I had in mind was using this same copper color and also black. If you could, I would like to see it two ways. One with the black above the belt line and the other with it reversed. If you have any ideas for a third color to highlight the belt line throw it down(I'm thinking white). What I had in mind was the grill shell being black and then transition into the two tone at the hood. So if you have any artistic ideas to make this transition flow, it is a blank canvas. As far as the belt line I envisioned using the bottom one which flows into a radius on the rear quarters. Maybe throw some copper pinstripes on the wheels. Also if you could switch the inline out with a (black block) SBC with lake headers that would be appreciated. The last request would be to transform this thing into a 5 window as that is what I have. Once again thanks for everything thus far and Happy Easter!

You're welcome! I gotta admit, when someone uses my photoshop work as a reference for their project it brings big grins. Its nice to be able to help even in a small way. We actually have the easy part, its those of you who do the cutting/grinding/patching/chopping/welding/swearing/primering/painting/wiring part who do the real work.

  30. Agree, I look at the work done or ideas suggested and think man, what a large talent there is here on the HAMB, and an even larger bunch of regular great kats here too, that jump in , with advice, a thought and a steady hand. I just dig looking at your work in this thread.
