My favorite part of these pics are the motorcycle tires on the front of the EMPERORS 32 tub. Great little detail!

  3. He is, and although I have never heard that, they also sturggle I think to fill the show. We did not have the nicest cars by far, but our room was the most fun :D

I do wonder what happened to the Auto Boat and Speed show? Back in the day, some area high schools would let their auto shop classes attend. It was as big as the State Basket Ball Tournament There was a phenomenal turnout of cars.

That was when he was promoter of the World of Wheels in Lewiston. Been awhile huh! He always said the Spokane show was more of a boat and a nose bleed 4x4 thing in your area to the public and the cars was a bonus.
Lewiston was always a strugle to fill as well. I can remember when George had to hall in a bunch of customer cars to fill some spots. That was after VVSR had quit doing the show. I miss the days when VVSR put on a killer rod run each year at the fairgrounds. I had to shower with the camel a couple times. Damn I'm starting to age myself now.

Some strange creatures were spotted at the show.

What year Pontiac motor? It looks Post '64, the reason I ask is the valley pan, You rarely see after-market pans for Pontiac motors. Thanks.

Note: Not sure if the front of the intake is staggered bolt pattern, if so then it's pre '64, just can't tell.
