I recall that thread. It was sitting on his side lawn. I don't know any of the thread title words to be able to search for it.

Did someone use the term "Disney" in that thread? or "amusmement park". Not in the title, so search "entire post"

If he built the thing he doesn't look too happy about it.

Jeeze! Can you blame him? Poor
    guy. You probably wouldn't be
too happy either if you suddenly
    got home from the psychiatric
    hospital and realized that you
    had built that "thing" either!:D

I remember that post. I seem to recall
a lot of people here deciding at the time,
that it was probably the rusting remains
of a "car" used in some sort of carnival or
amusement park ride Obviously from the
new pic you've posted that's not what it
is - but whatever it is, to my mind, it's
further and definite proof of the adage that
"just because something can be done,
it doesn't mean that it should be done!
    "!!

Its still a piece of history from a period of hard times that should be preserved. Hell it would probably bring a mil at BJ.

Yes chadillac found it some years ago and posted here. Then The Old Motor posted a photo of it with many of the details. They even found the patent drawings from when Frank Mayes who built it patented it.

All of the details and photo are here.
