  4. Nice solid car for a midwest chevy. I had to replace the bottom 6 inches of my old 50 chev delivery.

Hey Ricky, nice ride! Check out EMS for the floor pans. They're stamped to match the originals. Had them put into my 52. By the way, how's Lucy feelin about the Hard Top?

a "Styleline" car is the Sport Coupe, 2 door sedan, and 4 door sedan. "Fleetline" cars are the "fastback" body styles..

Bel Air would be a Hardtop (no door post) car.

Nice project! My wife built a '51 BelAir custom a few years ago. Great cars... but be prepared for sticker shock when you go to buy the wondow gasket for the rear window. :)

A dent free hood will save you time, so it depends on how much $$ you have/want to spend. All 49-52 hoods should work

    My wife's old '51

Oh yeah, 50-52 Bel Air = 2 door hard top or convertible ONLY. It meant something else in 53-54 models

Hey, Rick, nice car my friend, take your time and all will turn out cool.I brought mine in from the states all the way down under to New Zealand, took me three years to get her to what we wanted, check her out. They are one beautiful car the Belair hardtops. Best of luck on your journey. Regards Kevin

Thanks Kevin yes the hardtops are my favorite as well :)
I sold my camaro Project and kept the complete fresh drive train everything is fresh zero miles 10 bolt posi 373,super t-10 4 speed and ls carbed 6.0 should be amazing. I had a custom cam ground up for this app cant wait to put her all together. First i want to get her running then second worry about the body work. I won't do a frame off because life is to short and that's way out of my budget. Im just going to have fun with it :)

I just scored a excellent 52 Bel air hard top original color was honeydew with a onyx black top.
Doors, fenders, hood, trunk are rust free and straight.
Has a Heidts front end and a nova rear no interior, most of the chrome is there ,all glass is good, has nice door flippers and even came with all the repair panels.
I bought this car from a old hot rodder who just gave up on the car he said he didn't have time to finish so he was selling it.
The guy was a retired navy welder good guy! and i got the car at a great price. since my floors are better i will swap frames possibly the doors and some other parts.

Cool have you started repairs yet?

  29. :D and now to toss another into the mix; the Styleline has front fender emblems that say; Deluxe & but wait there's more; there was also a Fleetline Special as well as a Styleline Special - these were the the stripped down
    models without the stainless mouldings...

Ricky, you'll find the 51 has no door flippers. The 52 was the first with the flippers.
