Grew up in Rainier and have been calling PDX home for quite a few years now. I'll finally be rolling my dream car this year!
I grew up in Eugene, my dad and 3 of my cars are still there (2 stude pickups and a 66 mustang). Thinking of flying up for the Portland swap meet next month...
26 miles below Movin/On, just barely CA... Go to OR all the time, no sales tax and gas is roughly 50 cents a gallon cheaper..and the new law lets you pump your own gas in a classic car.. Welcome to the HAMB
You might be the only one there but you are close to the best 2 lakes in Oregun, boated there for years
Don't know if I'm one of the five mentioned in post #3' so here I am. When I was a kid growing up in Bend, our family would drive over to Sweet Home to pick black berries. Did it for years. I kind of liked the area, as I remember. I saw in your profile you work at Whites Electronics. I had one of their metal detectors years ago. Wish I could say it made me rich, but it didn't .
I grew up in the Portland area. Lived there 30 yrs. My family still lives there. It a tough place to own a roadster!
From Silverton.....I will be at Portland Swap Meet. Both PIR and Expo. Expo booth is 4575 and PIR booth is on the last turn before the dragstrip. See ya there!
Hey, drive down the back way thru Marcola for the Springfield Cruiz in July. Or have an adventure & go up the Santiam and down the Mckenzie Pass & I'll wave when you pass thru Walterville.....Red
Forest Grove about twenty five or so miles west of Portland out on the 26. there are a few more around this area I know of about six just a few miles from me. There is a NW HAMBers group and an oregon group too. Lots more action on the nw hambers than oregon.
