Hi all...its been a while since I have posted on here...been busy with work and organising my Rockabilly Festival... Did a little make over on my 53 over Xmas, after going to Mooneyes in Japan last December I got a little excited... Re chrome the front bars, added exta teeth in the grile, gloss on top and saturn green body, with a little Japan Mooneyes Gang Green Flake..Oh not to forget the trim, with 55 Buick Century cloth and pearl white, kustom trim by very good old friend Pat from Sunshine Trim in Melbourne.... Cheers Arthur www.camperdowncruise.com
Thanks guys.... I had a stupid moment about 6 weeks ago I was selling my truck... What the F#%K was I thinking.....Look at this thing....
Your '53 is one of my favorites and I love your improvements. The Chevy's back end is just way too kool!! Good luck with your show. Happy Trails, Mick
Thats a good looking 53! I have that exact set of rear bumper ends on my 54 that I was going to pull and sell in the classifieds, you may make me rethink that.
Art, Very Nice, I already liked the '53 a bunch, even though it was beginning to look a bit tatty, but it's for sure Suweeeet now!! I've never been a monster fan of button tuft, but must say I really dig your new upholstery, beautiful work! Who came up with the pattern, you or Pat? I think it's the combo of both button tuft & T/R that Makes it! Always have liked scallops when they're long snakey subtle ones like that! You be Stylin' man! and yeah, what were you thinkin'? Why would you want to break up a pair like that? [...do fix that droopy right door handle though, she's too purdy to have a curl outa place]
Pat and I spent a lot of time working out the trim, I restored a 55 Buick and orderd extra cloth knowing I would use it...Pat is the man tho... And yes I have fixed that curl.. Thanks 53Hattie
Thanks Kustom7777 they are 1948 Caddy tail lights, I lowerd the bumpers to give it a lower look and to get that quarter out that little bit more.... And 1956 Olds head lights...
