Great pictures of Bill's party. My son lives with Gene Winfield and has been learning everything Gene has to teach him. I can't wait to see his pictures.

Thanks so much for coming out Bill...it was wonderful having you and all your friends right there at the Broiler in the Heart of Kustomland. My warmest thanks to you and Michael Hines for making a little dream we talked about two years ago at Gene's come true! Special thanks to Brad Masterson for keeping Bill in the loop while we've all been coordinating the day (Kevin and I appreciate all your help, Brad). Thanks to JohnnyG for helping with parking and serving birthday cake, and to our mascot "Bob" for posing with people for pictures. From Jim and Lindsey and all your friends here at the Broiler, we thank you all for making Bill's birthday a truly historic day! See you next year, Bill!

When Jim called me from the bakery he said he had asked them to be sure to write "Lead Slinger"...not "Lead Singer" so we had to laugh when we looked at the cake. Bill really got a kick out of that!

How fab dudes and dudettes. I would have loved to be there and see my all time hero and power hitters like Gene Winfield and Brad Masterson all saluting the man. G.G., so appreciative of the wonderful pix, and the cake error is hilarious. I see some wonderful smiles from brother Hines that warmed my heart. Well done my friends. ~sololobo~

  12. It's cool seeing more pictures of this great day.I thought it was cool that there were some people who drove from up north to come down for the party.I was suprised there wasn't more local people from this board that didn't go.I just think that Billy the kid turning 90 is kind of a big deal for anyone that cares about Custom history.Anyway..........it was a real good time. Thanks for sharing the pics.

In every picture I've ever seen of Billl, he has a stogie firmly in place .... maybe there is some truth to the saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" !!

Happy Birthday, Bill. Looks like a very cool party.
