That is one badass model 40.

I can't help but think it would be that much cooler chopped.

Adding a stiffener in the from and in the back of the underside of the hood. Also using that metal to hood down the hood, using Ford spring loaded bolts on each side from and rear too keep and original look.....

I've always liked the look of painted steel wheels with contrasting pin stripes, like the second pic in this post, #43. (Why aren't the pics coming up?...) Why doesn't anyone do this any more?
    Beautiful car.

Scott, great looking car, I've heard Rudy does great work. I bet she really scoots with that motor setup too.

  13. Nice..love the idea of the locker in the V/8 Q/C. I converted my 34 five window to a 33 because I also like the looks of a 33 over a 34..a personal perference.

  14. I really like this 33! Is that a Caddy Flathead in the background of this picture?

The work on the blisters is done now just need to finish the hood.......Had to cut to fit the heads, also took out some of the bumps in the rear of the blister and just made it fit and feel better all around the Ardun

Just in case you don't know, I have decided not to build the 32 3 window......I have collected parts for this build for about a year or so now and its all gonna go. I have way too much stuff. I have a Ardun Motor, its dynode and all ready on a stand. Buick fin back plates as well as the fin drums.....Many sets of tires and wheels as I could not make up my mind on what I wanted. Headlights......lots of headlights. four 32 perfect grills one is like new new.....Never been mounted. halibrand quick change with custom 2 speed over drive, very nice. One perfect extra hood and sides. Very custom steering box tight ratio. This is the drawing of the car, low and a bit of extra hood......Cant say that anything is for sale because, well you know how it goes. But there is always that chance, pm are always ok.

Work looks great!!! Looks like a car that would have been on the east coast/ south in the late 50's! Reminds me of the TRJ article on Blue Ridge Mountain rods. Very very cool..

Is that a 575 Ferrari I spy in the back???
