Very cool looking on there!

I've heard of them being used on boats (thanks for the message) but haven't seen it myself yet, I did see a photo of a semi trailer in the 40's with some on it though. I have them in red, yellow and clear and would love to get some of the green lenses for them!

 

Yeah finding the lenses can be tough (or a pair in good shape), I've seen a few of the green ones pop up on eBay in the past, I think there's a nice set on there right now that have the amber lenses.

 

If you happen to see them again could you let me know? I've looked many times myself... I have about 11 of the chrome bezels and quite a few clear lenses and some reds and some ambers, I have a 52 Dodge big gravel truck that I am putting a vintage 5th wheel on and hoping to get a vintage trailer for it this summer, I want to outfit the trailer with the lights and green clearance on the front of it would be cool, and it's legal here!

 

I still haven't been able to ID these... I got them on eBay a few years ago... they came from Argentina.

 

The tail lights on my 1955 Plymouth Suburban...... Tops are stock but the bottoms are made from flea market finds and are actually two separate pieces glued together. They replace the cracked back up lights that were originally a chromed plastic. They are now my brake lights and work well.

 

Just the stock tail lights, the way they've always been.

This is the start of a MOLD to cast my own lights.....

 

I hope you post more about it as you go, I would love to see the results as I may have to cast my own for my German 59 ford Taunus.

 

a buddy that worked at Harley shop got tem for me. he said they were made for a single A' taillight for his chopper, (they don't sell them by the pair) he got me the other one, and sold them to me.

 

Got to love the 52/54 Ford, w/Packard taillights........
