My sister is getting married next weekend and her one request of the men in the family was to get our Grandpa's T running so we can take it to the reception for her to have her photo op's. We gave the old girl a much needed bath too...... The T, not my sister. :p

Not too shabby for an 86 year old survivor....

And then just have fun with it! Stock "T"s are a hoot, as long as you aren't in a hurry...

This car has been in my family since the 50's and never been taken apart. A true survivor and it will remain completely as-is as long as I have anything at all to say about it!

  5. That's rad! Thanks for sharing!

My old man scanned in a few old family pics of the T that he found in an album.
Couple of him and the car around 1953-1954....

    You forgot the coolest part....
The T was bought for 150 dollars and the man who bought it back then was riding around in it!!!!
It was an honor to meet Great Grandpa Douglas.
Congrats to your sister, now lets get the sawzall out and chop that baby!

    :)

X2 this is a hot rod site not the ford barn.... Cool story and cool car. We can let you off the hook this time.

  12. Yeah, next family wedding this thing better be running a hot flathead!

Very cool that it's neat old survivor and is obviously a cherished family member .
