I've got a Chevy II that I built into an altered wheelbase drag car.

    I want a nova wagon ... soooo bad:D:D

  3. I had one, liked it, but life got in the way.

Always wanted another, but I would put a Ford 289 in it. Reason: the Chevy II is SUCH a Falcon clone, that a Ford engine fits better, I bet. Seems like the Chevy engineers forgot that Chevy V8s have a rear sump...

The chevyII v8 had a center sump pick-up just like the L6s did.

same here ('66 wagon, v8, column shift 200r4). just moved the mess to my driveway a couple of weeks ago.

I've posted a bunch of the nova wagon pics I've taken over the last few years here: TheLongroofSociety.com

Be warned though, lots of the wagons in SoCal are 66/67.

Here is my 62 which was the first car I ever owned. I sold it and about 16 years later I found it in Florida and bought it back. Black top is the first time I owned it and the trailer is how it is now.

Bought at the Super Chevy show at Maple Grove, Pa. Was looking for 56 Chevy stuff and bought this instead. It still roams in the eastern Pa area under different ownership.

The guy with the 57 usually brings a 65. It's the cream/green colored one pictured here:

The pics from that day can be seen here: CPP Nova Day, 2011

The panel style wagon is a custom. They also didn't make 2 door wagons.

jbon64, FYI your wagon was for auction on eBay recently. It still looks great. I wonder what it went for?

  21. Here are some pics of my '63 Nova sports coupe.
I bought it 17 years ago off of the lady who had imported it into New Zealand in '67. It's had around a 8 year rebuild involving 3 trips to the US to buy parts.

Runs '64 327/365HP crate engine, along with kitted glide, and '64 10 bolt 3.73 Posi (to get 5 lug pattern). Also has discs up front.

It's been down to the last nut and bolt - only thing that didn't come out of the shell was the main loom.

My daughters 64 wagon. This was her first car we bought for her 16th birthday although we didn't have it finished and on the road until right after her 17th birthday.

I want to find a wagon to tow the race car with and for a summer cruiser.

Mine is coming together slowly, but surely. Another month and it should be ready to repaint the body (leaving the roof as is).

It is my understanding ( and I had a article/ad still can't find it.) That the fastbacks were a Fiber glass kit you could buy.
