You need to give another kid a shot at owning it for 47 years, My boy says he will trade you our ( ok his, he has already claimed it)64 for yours, wink wink. So far your truck is the only thing he said he would trade for.. I think for a 13 year old he has a good eye...I hope in 47 years he still has either our 64 or your truck....lol Killer truck...

I have been working on it for the last couple of years. Have not driven it since i was 18. I took it apart when I was 18, had an Olds drive train and I decided to change it. Wife and kids, no money, no time, no finish truck. Just now getting it going again hope I have a few years left of good health to enjoy it. Thanks for the kind comments.

Well Nick I hope you get it going soon... I love it.. If you ever decide to change directions and just drive a prius and want to get rid of it, let me know...lol... I will give it a good home for the next 47 years... Where in Ohio are you... If close to Cincinnati I would love to check it out.... Ryan

I was working in a restaurant washing dishes for .75 an hour, mowed lawns, anything I could to make some money to buy the truck from a local here in town for 400.oo in 1964. I'm sure its no record, but it has been quite a while for sure.

flyingfarley; great looking dodge. Have wanted to build an international with the same concept for awhile. Ditch the automatic though, that thing needs a manual. Most do.

Ya Nick, your truck would be cool if you built it yesterday, but having all these years makes it ten times cooler, to me anyway. Very nice, just drive it!

My 37 Ford I picked up after 6 years after the initial offer to buy the truck. The stars lined up and I got a call.

With the truck, haha! I tried to post a bigger pic of it and it came out bigger than the screen. So I figured it best to leave it out.

This a rather neat photo. This is me standing by my truck as a 16 year old in 1967 out in front of the Marathon Gas Station that I used to work at, and the other picture is me as a 60 year man,( and 75lbs heavier) standing by the same truck in my driveway. That Marathon station is still there and when I get the truck done I am going to drive it down there and take that same picture again. Truck looks different, chopped 2 " dropped axle, filled roof, etc.

And the '32 grille really works great on that truck. Such an awesome truck and vibe! I love it.

So when you go to take the new picture you're gonna try to slim down to high school weight right? :D
