I have seen this website for years and decided I should join because there is a lot of great information here. I don't have one yet, but I am a big fan of the 30's and 40's trucks. I have a Drafting and Design degree and also have 20+ years of independent study and research into race chassis, suspension and roll cages, and have also just finished my second book which is on independent front suspension design theory.
what will be funny is the Pinup girl will get more replies than you do....but I am sure when news spreads, you'll be very popular....nothing is cool about stabbing the gas and not being able to control your car....(unless you're into the loud heavies....aka Gassers! but eventually, they too need course correction)
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Pinup girl did get more replies. Hopefully after a while here, I will have a chance to post some tech articles to help out. I'm currently working on my next book on shocks and springs and then the next book will be on rear suspension geometry which will explain how to get the power to stick, so that will also help out the straight line guys (and gals) too! Thanks for the welcome!
