  2. Pictures are hard to see on my phone. Looks like you went from 80s style chrome mods to steelies with caps. A million times better.

  3. I like the merl real well, the wheels are OK too.

much better. you did not ask but, too big of gap between top of front tire & fender. ever set the whitewall in rear of pic next to car to see how it might look? ever considered a rectangular chrome roundstock nerf bar placed between rear fenders? it would fill in gap from body to fender rear edge and help take eyes away from unique tail lights and long exhaust tips. nice ride so, what is the exact color?

I think the wheels look much better, but I must say the old rear tires really filled the fenders and looked better. Before I clicked the thumb nail it looked like chrome reverse with slicks.and I thought it was the after pic.

HUGE improvement! It went from wrong to right IMHO.

  13. I'm guessing you went from Chrome modular to steelies.
That thumbnail pic for sure looks like Chrome reverse and pie crust slicks
    Wheels are a big improvement.
I would have chose tire size comparable to the older ones.
    Neat color too.

I also really like the old fashioned color ( the shade that shows best in pic2.)

Much better. But... IMHO I think you need to lower the car a little to close up the space between the tires and the fenders. Gary

I think Cruiser's right. save a thousand dollars and buy you some wide whites. I would pick up a little aqua pearl and paint match the wheels, then you've got it nailed. But steelies look great. Drive em like you stole em!

Looks much better, Great looking car.

  26. Ok, I read this several times and very slowly. You just took off the the steelies, caps and rings, they are the old ones and no longer on the car.

The new ones that you've changed to are the OT Chrome modular with bigger rear tire.

Seems everyone is commenting on how much they like the old ones, the steelies.

    OMG. Your right.

So I will revise my original comment and say the wheels definitely suck. But the rear tires fill the fenders much better. a step forward IMHO. (or maybe one forward one back. ) if you snapped on a set of bitchin' full caps, like lancer or something you would be getting closer.
