Those stainless strips in the bed and on the tailgate look really good. First time I have seen one done that way. Got any more pics of just the inside of the bed?

Oh man! Don't change those colors! Look up the original factory colors for that and they are fantastic! I wish my 59 was that color (Mine is all white with a turquoise interior). Looks good and it's hard to believe someone was dismantling that.

  6. ...here's my Biscayne from back in 1970's...btw, that white stuff is all hail, not snow!

Nice!!! Looks like a pretty decent "builder". I´ve seen a couple with that factory two-tone combination. The pistache green -looking cream color I believe is called "classic cream", the darker green on the roof, deck and side cove is a metallic color called the "Aspen Green Poly". The original upholstery color was a match to the "Aspen Green". Like someone already suggested, there were some pretty striking hues offered for these right from the factory, try image searches on "Crown Sapphire" and "Cameo Coral" for starters.

Hey guys, thanks for your input. Yeah I have looked at the color codes (990D) which translates to "Aspen Green Poly/Metallic" over "Classic Cream". Trim (interior) is 825, Impala Green. Sorry but I think this combo is UGLY!

My plans don't include "restoring" this car so how about black over creme with a black interior?

Other option is to sell it a concentrate on a 59 El Camino...

Sorry but should have mentioned. I have had a couple in "Cameo Coral" and my wagon is "Snowcrest White" over "Crown Sapphire".

    Thanks again.

  13. I plan on doing mine '55 chev colors Glacier blue with India Ivory lid.

When I drug it home I scotch brited it right away ..... thats all moss on the pic above, dangest thing it was metallic blue underneath ... which was a direct light coat over the factory Artic White.
