I liked the way the sedan delivery version came out so I threw a little paint & different wheels on it. I can see this with a dual quad equipped side oiler & 4 speed. Now I want to build one. lol

Holy Cow!!!!that is soooo clean....it does not look photoshopped....ok now I have a request....stock top...paint just like it is....with the patina.... same altitude adjustment and leave the 5 spokes...or throw on some salt flats....am I getting to picky?....I plan on driving it before I do any paint work...this is cool..getting to see it done before work begins....

Not a problem, thats why I do this and its fun to help visualize an idea. My "minds eye" ain't worth beans so this photoshop stuff helps.
Let me see if I have this right, you want stock roof height, white paint but with patina and lowered? Do you want the 4 door wagon version or sedan delivery version? I'll try a couple of different versions just for the hell of it. Eli

Hell Yeah Man!!! It is amazing what an altitude adjustment and some wheels and tires can do to an old wagon....Thanks Eli....

Beautiful car!! I have a customer that has one in his garage (since 76), woodgrain and all. Retired Ford engineer.....I'm tempted to stop over and visit them this week.

Any time, I'm a diehard Ford guy and like to see 'em taken in different directions.
As for the wheels and altitude adjustment, no kidding, its kinda like a boob job for cars. :D

So I pulled the seats out and found 10 different rubber mats glued together on the floor....I wasn't sure what to expect...It could have been real bad...I was pretty happy only to find that the front floors will need some attention...

The ten different floor mats thing cracked me up. Glad its no worse than it is and the floors actually look pretty good overall.

    Factory AC...."POLARAIR"...It is a very neat piece...It was like a $250.00 option in 61...

Here's a pic of a well kept survivor I saw on an "Inliners" cruise a couple of years ago, with dark tinted windows. It looked great...stunning in fact, but then I've always been partial to wagons and deliveries.
Glad you'll be saving another and you'll have a great ride.

    X2!!
maybe late '60's chrome Ford "rally wheels" with dog dish hubcaps or torque thrust D's. I'm thinking Mustang 5.0 drivetrain from the Mustang JY in Georgia. You already have 9", upgrade to front disc, lowered about 2". The '61 Ford is one of the best looking cars Ford ever built, you did good!!

3 speed with OD, probably an option in '61. I had the 3 speed with OD on column in '55 Stude, it was a ball to drive!

Not much to update....cleaned out the floor real good....going to do some front pan work......picked up some 15 inch steel wheels..2 15x6's....2 15x5's.....not sure about tires yet....I want to get it lowered before I spring for tires.....still trying to decide and or find a good engine combo....leaning towards 302/5-speed

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the steering columns from 61-62..? I want to make this car a floor shift and I found a column out of a 62 that was a factory floor shift car....it would be a really neat piece.....but I don't want to cut up a bunch of stuff to make it work...Thanks

Nice score! Just leave it as it is and drive the hell out of it. Or maybe lower it a bit and add some wheels. ...hmmm:D
