Yeah ... I should have gotten it tonight, but I am gonna talk to the landowner tommorrow and I would be willing to bet anything that I will have it tomorrow!!! If the ass end of that white Chevy pickup wasnt loaded down with toolboxes, air compressor, generator, and if it wasnt a utility bed, it would have came home with me anyways !!

  2. I don't get some of you guys, that thing would be in my shop right now if I found it sitting in the weeds. (with permission of course) ANY old Ford part can be converted into $$$$$$$$$$$ That car is plum savable!

  16. That is an awesome find. What I see in the pics would make for a great project, If I was in your position I wouldn't hesitate in buying and building it. Keep us updated.

  18. It's like a stack of money laying on the ground. Easily a couple grand if not more. A while back a buddy traded a fake '40 ragtop cut up from a coupe that was a real POS, but on a rolling frame, and got two 1/4 midgets, an old Nascar GN rolling chassis/cage, and a '35 Ford coupe that had been a stock car but the body wasn't cut, welded or wrecked.

  21. Man, with the cowl, upper panel, decklid, I see all the convertible bracing and even top irons!!! Shit the windshield garnish moldings and top latches are still there!!! Would be the perfect (reasonable) start to a 40 CUSTOM!!!

Ok, Hands up who would phone farmer Jones and ask if you could come back gopher shooting again, then once your done ridding his field of pesky varmints, you might calmly say that you could also haul away that hole ridin' cow pooooop covered eyesore,
And you might even be able to borrow your neighbors non oil burning truck so you don't bottom your 6 bolt rims out.

    ?

I can't say anything more that hasn't already been said regarding the car.

My question: You called it a pasture find. Now I've never been to that part of Texas, but is that ground in the photos really a pasture? The sprigs of grass are so far apart, I don't think the damn cows could get enough nourishment from one of them to be able to get to the next before starving to death.
