Yeah, most of it... I welded in some of it just for piece of mind... But its plenty stong bolted only. All grade 8 hardware... Thanks
Awesome little truck. Really nice work. But, seeing you drag the front suspension around while wearing those sandals is kinda disturbing.
wow...really nice work...love the dedication turning your garage into your own personal spray booth! who needs one of those..
Thanks a lot everyone. I have been on this forum since 2004 and it has been inspirational for my builds and thoughts. Lotta nice stuff on here...
If you would have told me what you were going to do, I probably would have thought that it would be really ugly. Light green truck with a bamboo bed doesn't sound very "cool" to me. After looking at your pictures I think you nailed it. I could not have been more wrong. Looks a hell of alot cooler than I thought it would have. Low is cool but maybe a hair too low for my taste but it's not mine. If it were mine I'd be proud as hell to own it! Very nice work! Congrats on a beautiful truck! Way to think out side the box. I would have never thought of bamboo for the bed. Thanks for sharing!
How to build a cool truck by DRTYRAT30>> Manufacturer> Chevy Truck Model> Short Box with custom Bamboo floor Color> Custom green Stance> Slammed Wheels> Chrome Reverse Tires> Wide Whites You nailed it! 'nuff said!!
I am a Ford guy but I always give credit where credit is due . Damn nice looking p/u ! I really like how you did the bed with split bamboo shoots ! Congrats on a very well thought out project ! Retro Jim
Damn that truck is sick!!! Makes me wish I had my 65 again!!! That truck is at the top on my list for sure!!!
You didn't cut any corners in building it and the results show it. Very sharp, well engineered truck. Don
that is some kind of well engineered kit you put in there, and you did a great job of putting it all together. In my opinion the truck would be just as cool (actually more cool) 5-6" off the ground with some springs. maybe even with some bigs and littles and a rake.
That is sick! and so clean..., you nailed it right on the head. Congrats on a very simple, clean, and creative build!! thanks for sharing!
