I bet it looks really cool with the tree in full leaves.Yup went to the tree nursery, picked up a little tree to plant in the front yard, never got around to plant it, then the dam truck ran out of gas, there she sets. Gona plant it some day! LOL.

  8. Paul almost the same truck sits down the road from my house with the bed piled high with aluminum cans with the frame in the dirt , the old timers says he's gonna restore it one day but he might take 10K for it!

trucks pretty decent looking for having been sitting that long. I could use those cab marker lights.

  10. I completely understand. Dude is a shadetree mechanic, and had to wait for the tree to grow big enough for him to work on the truck.

I don't blame him. That's a '53 Cottonwood Tree. Don't see many of those in one piece nowadays.

Looks like he is working on the same thing for the van too. Check back 30 years from now on that one.

That is a pretty decent looking truck considering such obvious lack of care. Maybe it is due to the Round-up parties looks like he apparently has for it.

You find some crazy stuff Paul.

Wonder if they string lights on the tree and truck at Christmas. Would look pretty cool.

i made a delivery last summer (back when i had a GD job) and the shop had a 46-47 Ford F1 on a ramp out front... it took me a second take before i realized it was now a flower bed..... holy moses.... i then noticed it was really trashed, just kept there as yard art.

i'm tryin like hell not to become "that guy", but with no job, there's no money to put into the Falcons.... i do what little i can afford, when the weather permits. these are likely the last Falcons i'll come across that i could have bought, so they'll stay as long as i can manage it.... hopefully never reaching THAT stage!
