Gday all, my name is Michael, mates call me Mick, I am married with two beautiful grown up daughters, I drive a fuel tanker for work, and love hotrodding. I currently own a 1933 ford five window hiboy coupe and am just starting on a brookville 32 ford roadster. Now that I have finally taken the plunge and registered here I am looking forward to seeing and hopefully sharing in some of the cool stuff that goes on here.
Welcome aboard from the other side of the globe! Was cool to read the rest of your story in your profile......... Looking forward to pics of your roadster build!
Welcome from Brisbane, have loved your coupe from the first time I seen it at the 83 Nats.Keep us posted on the roadster build...Rod. Sent from my iPhone using TJJ
Thanks for the welcome. Should've joined sooner the stuff on here is mind boggling, don't like billet so needless to say am loving this place.
Hi Slim, have posted some pics of my coupe on the show us your 33 34 coupe thread, and at the moment my roadster is just a bare shell, just starting on that one, but will be most happy to share whats happening with it as it progresses.
Here's some pics of my coupe. Here's some from over the years. First car I ever owned was this 50 Ford sedan. Followed soon after by this 37. Then came a 57 Chevy. Which then made way for this 38 coupe. Followed by this 40 sedan. Sold that to go into a business that turned to shit, so to ease the pain when I was broke I tidied up this old Holden wagon. Got back on my feet again and got a 37 coupe. Two little girls in the pic are my daughters, who are now 22 and 25 years old. My eldest is also Hotrod mad and is living with her boyfreind who is also a rodder, got to love it when the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. My youngest is married and has no interest, oh well, you get that. After that came another 57. Followed by my coupe, which I have owned for the past 15 years and have no intention of parting with anytime soon. Inbetween though we have also had this Aussie bodied 34 sedan. As for my 32 roadster thats just a bare shell and frame at the moment, but the plan is for a traditional style hiboy roadster, when I get well into the project I will post some pics. Thanks again for the kind welcome, I'm blown away at the size of this place and how quick threads move, the knowledge here and a lot of the threads will be invaluable building my roadster, also hope to get to know a few folks along the way.
Mick, missed this earlier. Have been down in Geelong over the weekend. So welcome from the middle of the state of Victoria.
