    Im pretty sure ill be able to see well enough. Flat seat tracks are a good thing.

    Good to meet you to, lots of sweet rides at the show. Never got to meet slddnmatt, but I did see the Merc he built and the one EXK built. both very nice rides!

    Thanks! Its fun to work on this. I,m a body man by trade so i get to work on wrecks all day. This is my first time chopping and i,m learning a lot.

    Back is almost complete window pillars next. I,m gunna get the roof media blasted due to the fact that it was a Monterey (vinyl top). lots of surface rust and pitting.

    What seat are you using? Are you using the stock front seat? I have a similar chop, and I'm trying to figure out how to lower the stock front seat. What did you do to get the seat as low as possible? Any info is appreciated!!!

    I have a seat (split bench) from a 64 impalla . I might be using that if i dont find something i like better. It sits almost flat on the floor. I,m also looking at a couple of cadillac benches. I havent made up my mind yet.

    Thanks man, Ive been busy working on projects for other people but found some time yesterday to do the post and window frame. Now that I got one side figured out the other side should go pretty quick.:D

    hell the other side usually takes longer, because you have to match all the radiuss' from the other side! and you wouldn't believe how many are out there that do not match!!

    I hear you there, But i did make some templates for a guideline hopefully this helps. This is a learning experience for me being the first chop i have attempted.

    Found a new hood and trunk lid that are in way better shape then the ones I have now thanks to the Hamb classifieds.;)

    Chop almost done, going to get the roof media blasted to clean out all the pits from the old vinyl top. Body work next.

    Im goin..... Slddnmatt was rite matching the other side was difficult.I buttoned it up today. All thats left is the quarter window rear radius And I can do the bodywork.

    Looks awesome! But, why the subframe? The Merc had a perfectly fine IFS from the factory... and why an '05 Vette engine? Be different! Use the flathead and put a 5 speed behind it, it will go down the road just fine. Or what about a Nailhead if you wanna go fast?

    both the side mouldings, upper and lower are going back on.
