Jalopy Showdown '12

Hahaha!!! It was more for my son and if we should even attempt to camp. I'll be fine in any situation but I wanted to know because I would more then likely have my family with me.

 

The House of Fab crew wouldn't miss this evet for nutin !! Liquid Apple Pie, white knuckle bus rides (hint, tip Paxton for the museum and turn him loose!), seeing old friends, making new ones, an all around great time.

Oh yea, there's a car show there somewhere!

 

And I can honestly say that I have never been to another car show that had a ROCKET RIDE !! best 50 cents you will ever spend.

 

cant wait to see the museum addition,hope there will be more "altoona speedway" stuff! i also cant wait to drool over this again

Yeah jeffery watch some of those videos they will definitly get your blood pumping and put you in the mood to dive into some mudd! Weather with a car or with some girls its a great time!

 

We camped last year, It was a blast even if it was kinda muddy lol! Got cool at night but it was damn nice during the day

 

count me in ! hope to camp this year ,got me a nice old van that should be nice and toasty inside !!

Just going through this thread and I noticed there`s a bunch of us that use Showdown pic`s in our avaitar`s.Both at Latimore and at Beaverspings.Mine included thanks to Slim.

 

moved since last year and went in for a job interview .. my old boss told the owner " theres no way she will miss her car shows" and that was part of the deal signing up ! i got all three show dates off

 

I hope to have this at least driveable, I bought the motor there last year, it is in the shop now.

It started out a fleet color, maroon but it was on the purple side so we added black until I got the color I needed, now I need to name it.

 

Yup. We've been talking about it for weeks already. Can't believe it's 79 days away.

Well I'm out. I just blew my Showdown dough on the Winfield class in July. My other excuse is the car I am building special for the showdown is no where completed.

 

I'd rather have your reasons to miss the show. My car just got hit. Hope I can fix it in time..................
