Thanks guys! I don't mind the surgery, but the 6 weeks downtime in summer is gonna be a real drag. I like being busy whether it's cars or home improvements.

Plans before surgery include getting my Sedan back in my carport with the frame done, replumbing my bro's fuel lines on his O/T race car, and fabbing up an artistic 16' metal gate for my driveway.

Having the '29 back at home I can at least tinker with it while I heal up. And I'm really hoping I can stay away from radiation. That was a butt-kicker last time! Chemo was easy, all things considered.

Sounds like good advise right there - I'll agree . That and keeping your "up" attitude & you'll do fine .

I'm still here, surgery is scheduled for April 10. Been catching up on home projects while thinking about my model A build. A little nervous of course, but very optimistic none the less. Thanks for checking in on me!

  15. Thoughts and prayers, keep looking forward. Whats first on the model A?

  16. I agree with Hotrodladycruiser, prayers for you and the surgeon. You have modern technology on your side. Attitude counts more than we can comprehend.

Model A is getting the body braced so I can un-weld the doors and get inside to finish the frame details. I'm using all metal, no wood.
I gotta finish my custom driveway gate first.

Everything will go just perfect tomorrow ! GOD will always watch over his people so you have nothing to worry about !
Prayers go out to you , your family and the surgeon doing the operation ! You will be back on your feet welding in no time flat so please don't worry or give it another thought . Just relax and let the surgeon do his work .
    GOD Bless !
