Delete the console & cup holders, add 3rd pedal to shift a standard trans, the rest is nice.

Just because someone says its street roddy you dont need to change stuff to please anybody else but yourself. Okay its a little modern inside but it sure looks comfortable and fast.

  7. I think what he means by street roddy is it has some modern styling to the interior.

If It was my choice I would pull the console and change the seat to bench. maybe the door panels too. But who cares....it's not mine....and really the number one thing is if you like it. persaonlly before I did anything what I would do is add a hood and sides with a cut out for the scoop. I think that would look real sinister. the engine looks nice, but it's really busy for me with all the modern stuff. It just keeps pulling my eye away from the great lines it has. again just an opinion. Either way you got a bitchin hot rod there, and I would be proud to drive it.

Only because you asked; A/C vents, auto trans shifter on the column, swoopy upholstery design, center console/cup holders. Traditional rods don't roll like that.

    Great looking rod though!

You missed my point, someone else said put a hood on it, not me, I said I don't see how as the grill shell looks "higher" than the cowl.

I love the car but if mine, would do some changes as described. Where are you located? It could be cheaper than you think.

If you just got it I wouldn't do anything right away. Drive it around some and go to a few shows. You can ideas of what you like by looking at a lot of other cars.

There is a ton of stuff going on in CA year round so you shouldn't have any trouble finding shows to attend.

    Have fun with it!

I'd probably leave it alone. Yes it is possible to make it look more traditional for this crowd, but one change makes something else look like it needs changing.... It will not end. As it is now, it all works for that style of build.

"it is what it is" :)
